BUILDING A FOOSBALL TABLE
BY ERIK BOYDSTON AND CAMERON PHILP
I DIDN’T HAVE A PROBLEM, BUT OUR TECHNOLOGY TEACHER, MR. ALMON, MENTIONED “FOOSBALL TABLE”. I GOT INSPIRED TO BUILD ONE. I DECIDED TO JUST “WING IT”.
STEP 1: I GOT A 2 FOOT BY 3 FOOT AND 6 INCHES DEEP BOX FROM WEST ELM SINCE WE’RE REDOING MY PARENTS BEDROOM.
STEP 2: I GOT 9 ARMY MEN (THE CROCODILES) AND 9 KNIGHTS (THE ALLIGATORS).
STEP 3: I GOT 2 WOODEN POLES AND 2 ARROWS FROM WHEN MY DAD WAS A KID. *PROBLEM: THE ARROWS WEREN’T LONG ENOUGH SO WE CUT SOME WOOD, AND IT WAS OKAY FOR THE END..* WE CUT ALL THE “POLES” THE SAME LENGTH AS THE ARROWS WITH WOOD.
STEP 4: I PUT 4 OF THE KNIGHTS ON A POLE WITH GORILLA TAPE AND THEN WE DRILLED HOLES FOR THE “POLES” TO GO THROUGH.
STEP 5: WE MEASURED WHERE TO PUT THE POLES AND STUCK THEM IN.
STEP 6: WE GOT LITTLE CARDBOARD BOX CORNER CUTOUTS FOR THE CORNERS SO THE BALL DIDN’T GET STUCK.
STEP 7: I GOT A BOUNCY BALL FOR THE SOCCER BALL BUT IT WAS TOO BOUNCY, SO I GOT A LEGO BALL AND USED IT.
STEP 8: FINISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
